Politically Incorrect Fitness Tip
. The Taoist way of exercise can be summarized in
the following manner: 'Any exercise that does not have internal focus is
INCOMPLETE.'
What does this mean? It means the same dern thing that old-time strongmen like
George Jowett, George Hackenschmidt, Eugen Sandow and others told their
audiences decades ago.
To quote Jowett from 'Unrevealed Secrets of Man' - the ebook I released on
Saturday, 'You must concentrate. Under the terrific influence of mental
vibration you can actually watch your muscles grow. Concentration is the true
secret to acquisition of the Magnificent form.'
By concentration Jowett does not mean focusing on the exercise itself, although
that is imporant. What he means is concentration on the 'muscles' being used.
That is the key.
See your muscles as growing, and they will. See them as getting stronger, and
they will. Tell your muscles that they're getting more flexible - and guess
what? They're friggin listening. And they will respond.
So, here this: If you're training with head phones on, take 'em off. If you
watch tee-vee while riding and exercycle, turn it off. If you are yapping with
friends while training - shut the hell up.
Concentrate, my friend. That is the key to the whole ballgame.
And that is today's politically incorrect tip of the day.
Kick ass - take names.
